At Mission Health Physicians, we want your time with us to go as smoothly as possible. Our care teams and support staff help with a number of issues, allowing you to have a stress-free visit.

Resources for your visit with us

We want to reduce issues during your upcoming visit by helping with items, such as billing questions, insurance details, lab tests or obtaining medical records.

Insurance plans

We're here to help you with questions about the insurance plans we accept. Our practices take a variety of plan coverages, including:

  • Commercial insurance
  • Health insurance exchanges
  • Managed Medicaid coverage
  • Medicare Advantage plans

Make a payment

We want you to be informed of our practices' service fees, so we provide planning tools for estimating the cost of care. Additionally, we provide information on how to make online payments ,as well as resources for resolving balances. If you have questions, our support team has answers.

Medical records

Our Health Portal is your connection to obtaining medical records, 24/7. The portal allows you to get personal health information, such as your medical history, immunization records, lab or imaging results, as well as paper copies of your records.

Medicare annual wellness

As part of your Medicare coverage, you can schedule an Annual Wellness Visit that provides you and your primary care provider an opportunity to discuss your current risk for illness and injury. Our experienced primary care practices help you complete this exam, then develop a preventive plan of action.

Patient forms

To save time in your upcoming visit, we have a number of useful patient forms, which you can complete ahead of your visit. These forms include:

  • Medical Records Release
  • Patient Consent and Registration
  • Patient HIPAA Acknowledgement and Consent
  • Registro de Pacientes y Consentimiento para Tratar

If you're age 18 years old and older, our team offers direction for an advanced directive, a document that lets your loved ones and physicians know your medical care preferences if you're unable to do so.

Virtual care

We offer telemedicine services , which allow our physicians, nurse practitioners, midwives and physician assistants to give you care in a safe and comfortable setting. Our online options include:

  • Telehealth visit with your provider — This is a real-time, online telehealth visit with your personal provider. Many of our practices offer online appointments for situations that don't require you to come into our offices, such as getting lab results or answers to medical questions. Your visit is covered by insurance, and you would be charged a copayment.
  • Online appointment with our clinic provider — You can get an in-person video visit with the first available provider — no scheduling needed — through our My Care Now walk-in service. A medical professional is always available, regardless of whether you have a personal provider. Your visit is covered by your coverage plan, and you're merely responsible for a copay fee.
  • Virtual clinic — If you have an everyday illness, our virtual clinic provides an online, noninteractive consultation. We offer a diagnosis, treatment and prescription, if needed. Your consultation begins with completing a 15-minute, online survey, which is reviewed by a certified provider. Next, we send you a diagnosis and treatment plan in about an hour. The consultation costs $35, payable by major credit card, regardless of whether you have insurance. We're open every day from 7:00am to 7:00pm. You may submit surveys at anytime, but questionnaires submitted after 7:00pm will be answered the next day from 7:00am to 8:00am.

Walk-in care

Our My Care Now clinics offer the convenience of less-expensive, non-emergency care, with no appointment necessary. With walk-in branches in Biltmore Park, Haywood, McDowell, Franklin and Spruce Pine, our locations offer weekend and extended hours (early morning and late evening), with ample parking in addition to onsite imaging and laboratory services.
